"Checking In?" takes the viewer to a fantasy time and place. The retro chair is reminiscent of scenes from the 1960's. The Art Deco building "Ocean Club" is named after the hotel in the James Bond movie "Casino Royale". All complete fantasy, including the pink flamingo that appears to be enjoying a float around in the crystal clear swimming pool. The palm tree makes one think of the tropics. The sun is hot, casting shadows from the chair and the closed beach umbrellas. A seabird flies past, perhaps he is observing the pink flamingo. The ocean in the background and the summer sky with some whispy clouds complete the scene and makes it a perfect place for a holiday.
