"La Mer" (The Sea) depicts the crisp pink buildings looking out to the beautiful turquoise waters. The perspective looks down to the white, sandy beach and to the ocean. The waves gently break on the beach. In the distance, there are mountains, an island and crisp clouds. The viewer is able to catch a glimpse into the rooms of the buildings. The palm tree is an imposing sight against the backdrop of the building. The sun shade is ready for someone to soak up the sun, perhaps with a good book and an aperol spritz. A couple of flags blowing in the breeze suggest a cool breeze provides relief from the harsh sun.
